By supporting sustainable tourism and conservation efforts, we can ensure that Ishaqbini remains a thriving habitat for endangered species. Join us in our efforts to keep Ishaqbini wild and wonderful!

Local Community Empowerment

  • Employment opportunity:The conservancy employed 54 locals
  • Women Microfinance program (Kshs. 16.7Million):
  • 324 women actively engaged in small business
  • Women Savings through the microfinance program is Kshs. 9M as of Nov. 2022
  • 30 youths (11 male & 19 females) from Ishaqbini completed 3 months village based vocational training ‘Ujuzi Manyattani’ and awaiting graduation.

Improved Access to Portable Clean Fresh Water 

  • Over 240 households benefitted through construction of proper water infrastructure.
  • Piped water from the river – Korisa and Kundi water project ,plans underway to connect the water pipeline to Alijarire,Hubi and Kotile Villages in 2023
  • Solarization of Ishaqbini water pump

Education Support:

  • Education bursaries to 118 students
  • Education Infrastructure – Teacher’s house in Hara and 2 dining halls (Korisa & Kotile primary)
  • Employed 2 ECD teachers(Hara&Alijarire school)

Annual Livestock vaccination Program   

  • 60,000 Livestock vaccinated annually – Cattles, Sheep and Goats for the last 6 years.
