Local Community Empowerment
- Employment opportunity:The conservancy employed 54 locals
- Women Microfinance program (Kshs. 16.7Million):
- 324 women actively engaged in small business
- Women Savings through the microfinance program is Kshs. 9M as of Nov. 2022
- 30 youths (11 male & 19 females) from Ishaqbini completed 3 months village based vocational training ‘Ujuzi Manyattani’ and awaiting graduation.
Improved Access to Portable Clean Fresh Water
- Over 240 households benefitted through construction of proper water infrastructure.
- Piped water from the river – Korisa and Kundi water project ,plans underway to connect the water pipeline to Alijarire,Hubi and Kotile Villages in 2023
- Solarization of Ishaqbini water pump
Education Support:
- Education bursaries to 118 students
- Education Infrastructure – Teacher’s house in Hara and 2 dining halls (Korisa & Kotile primary)
- Employed 2 ECD teachers(Hara&Alijarire school)
Annual Livestock vaccination Program
- 60,000 Livestock vaccinated annually – Cattles, Sheep and Goats for the last 6 years.
